It was the middle of the night and Dean was a heavy sleeper, so when you felt him climbing out of bed you started to panic. You watched him get dressed and head over to his things, packing them away.
‘Dean? What are you doing?’ you asked.
Dean’s silhouette froze but he carried on packing his things after a moment. You climbed out of bed and stood by him.
‘Dean, what’s wrong?’
‘I need to keep you safe, baby.’ Dean’s voice was thick with tears. He was fumbling around in his bag, trying to put things in. You grabbed his hands and he looked the other way.
‘What are you trying to say?’ you asked, wishing with your whole heart that he wasn’t saying what you thought.
‘This life is too dangerous for you,’ he said, defeated. He looked into your eyes and held your hands, his eyes brimming with tears. You had no sympathy, but you were angry. You pulled your hands away.
‘So what? You were just going to disappear in the middle of the night and what? Leave me a note? Tell me you love me and you’re sorry, but you think it’s for the best?’ you screamed, furious.
Dean was lost for words and just stared at you.
‘That is not your decision to make, Dean Winchester!’ you dashed away the angry tears that were on your face.
‘I don’t want to have to bury you (y/n)! Just like I’ve buried everyone else that I’ve loved.’ Dean yelled back.
‘This is my life Dean. I want to spend it with you; I knew the risks, but so what? I love you Dean. That’s what matters to me and I know that matters to you too. Family matters to you. And you are all the family that I’ve got,’ you said, slowly getting quieter.
You could see Dean’s resolve crumbling with your words and you put your hands on his cheeks. His tears started to fall as he looked at you. He grabbed you and held you against his chest, kissing your hair.
‘Please don’t be mad with me,’ he whispered into your hair.
‘I’m not, but you’re not the only one in this relationship Dean.’
You pulled back and kissed his lips. Dean’s hand laced through your hair, holding your head in place. Both of your tears mixed together giving your kiss a salty taste.
‘Come on,’ you said. You took his hand and led him back to the bed. You both lay down, but there was no chance that you could sleep now.
You lay there for a while and you were convinced that Dean was sleeping.
‘What’s wrong?’ Dean asked. You didn’t answer him. Dean turned and pressed his front to your back so that you were spooning. He wrapped his arms around you.
‘I promise not to disappear in the middle of the night (y/n). I was stupid to think that I could ever leave you.’ Dean kissed the crook of your neck.
‘But what if I hadn’t woken up Dean? You’d be gone right now.’ You whispered, tears threatening.
‘Maybe I would be. Maybe I would have changed my mind when I got to the car and crawled back into bed with you. I don’t know that. I do know that if I’d left you tonight, I would’ve come back by tomorrow. There’s no way that I can live without you. You have to believe me.’
‘I do baby, I do’, you said, as you held Dean’s arms tighter around you.
You were glad that he couldn’t see the tears that were silently running down your face as you thanked God that you had woken up in time.

Collaspe (Hurt!Reader x Dean)
“Dean, look out!” you shouted as a knife went whizzing by his head and buried itself in the wall behind him. Looking around the room you spotted the witch chanting in the corner and deflecting all the bullets the two of you were firing at her. She caught sight of you for a second and all of the knives and blades aimed straight for you and darted in your direction. Bobbing and weaving you managed to only get minor cuts to your arms and the side of your face.
“Dean nothing’s working, what’re we going to do?” you asked him while putting your back to his.
“Torch the place I guess? If we can trap her

Meeting again (Dean X Reader)
"Dean, I can't see you anymore" you say, clearly upset,
"Why?" he asks,
"My mom gets mad at me, she says you're dangerous and that you'd get me in trouble" you say to the nine yearold, he looks at you with his big green eyes,
"I'm leaving town tomorrow anyway, so I guess that doesn't matter", he says, you give him a hug, one of the hugs that only a child could give to another, and they know they'll never forget each other.
"You were a good friend Dean" you say,
"I know".
~Twenty two years later~
You never forgot Dean Winchester, and in contrary of what you thought, he never forgot you too.
At times, you remembered his face, his big green eye

Regret - A Dean X Reader One Shot
The Impala came to a stop, stirring Sam from his previously peaceful sleep. He rubbed a hand over his eyes and looked to his older brother.
“Where are we?”
“Maybe if you hadn’t been sleeping for the past four hours you’d know!” Dean joked, sliding out of the car. “I’ll be right back.”
Once his eyes adjusted to the light Sam started to recognize their surroundings, and a frown pulled on his lips. He watched as Dean disappeared into a flower shop.
When Dean entered the brightly decorated store, the woman behind the counter flashed him a friendly smile. She looked to be somewhere in her fort
