You were trapped, back against the wall, as the fire spread out all around you. You had nowhere to turn and no way out.
You closed your eyes and could feel the heat getting closer and closer. Sam and Dean shouted your name in the distance but all you can think about is how this is a horrible way to die.
You hear running and open your eyes to tell the boys that it’s too late to save you, but when you open them the words get stuck in your throat.
He’s here, you think.
He’s actually here.
The flames are around your ankles now but all you can see is Lucifer’s face. He looks calm and serene and that’s what you love about him.
He was the Devil and he wasn't afraid of anything.
He walked through the fire and the flames started to burn his vessel, he got to you and picked you up bridal style. He ran out of the nearest door, his arms cradling you from the flames.
When you got outside, you sat you on the ground and knelt beside you. His hands caressed your face.
He kissed your forehead tenderly and disappeared just before Sam and Dean came around the corner.
You smiled, because you knew your angel was watching over you.
