When you and Rick arrived at Bobby’s for the week, you were so excited to see him again.
Bobby had become your only family after Dean had died and Sam had no interest in anything, so when you went away to school, you were always happy to come back and see Bobby.
Rick opened the boot of your car and you couldn’t help but compare him to Dean again. When Dean had died Bobby had given you his Impala and it felt strange to share the car with a different man.
You picked up one of your bags and quickly walked into the kitchen. You were planning on cooking for Bobby so you started to put away the fresh things in the fridge. You heard footsteps coming down the stairs so you turned and looked, but it wasn’t Bobby like you were expecting.
Dean’s eyes still shone as brightly as the last time you’d seen him. Your heart jumped in your chest while the two of you just stood and stared at each other.
‘Hey Babe, you want these in the fridge?’ Rick called from the kitchen. You stepped backwards and turned away from Dean, unable to register that he was here.
You smiled at Rick and took the beer from his hands.
Rick put a hand on your cheek, ‘are you okay?’ his eyes gazing into yours.
‘Yeah, I’m fine, do you mind getting the rest of the bags, I want to go and find Bobby?’ you asked.
He kissed your forehead and you closed your eyes relishing the feeling because you knew that things were going to change any second now. You were so conflicted that you were ignoring it, ignoring the fact that Dean was alive.
Rick went outside and you took a deep breath, going in search for Bobby.
He was downstairs in his panic room. You walked slowly trying to catch what the voices were saying.
You could hear Bobby’s and Dean’s but the third took you a moment to understand. It was Sam’s. After all this time, he still hadn’t spoken to you.
‘Listen kid, I’ve finally got her in a good place. She got out, y’know how hard that was? I spent every penny I got on that girl, because she deserved it and she still does.’
‘I can’t help that I love her Bobby! I can’t help that I want her with me and not with some son of a bitch with a fancy life,’ Dean practically yelled, sounding completely run down.
‘Look, I know it’s hard, but he’s a good kid, an’ he loves her, far as I can tell he’s good for her.’
You moved closer to the door but the floor creaked under you. Dean turned to look at you, with Bobby and Sam behind him.
When he smiled at you, his face looked so sad that you stepped forward and wrapped your arms around him. You closed your eyes, to stop yourself from crying and allowed yourself to enjoy the feel of him in your arms.
‘I’m so glad you’re not dead,’ you told him truthfully, pulling back.
Before you could allow yourself to kiss him, you turned to Bobby and hugged him tightly.
‘How you been kid? How’s school treatin’ ya?’ he asked, like the concerned father he had come to play in your life.
‘It’s been good Bobby, I love it there,’ you say, suddenly feeling ashamed of your new life in front of Dean.
You looked at Sam and frowned.
‘I see that you’re not dead too, I’m still alive and breathing if you care or had bothered to answer my calls,’ you say harshly. Not only had you had to deal with Dean’s death, but Sam’s abandonment too.
‘I’m sorry,’ Sam said, with a sad smile and that seemed like all he was going to say about it.
You knew you were avoiding the real question, but you couldn’t allow yourself to think about Dean too much.
You had a man upstairs that you loved and who loved you.
You could feel Dean’s eyes watching you as you left the room and went upstairs to your different life.

Dean x Reader (one shot)
It was late at night. You were caught by three demons in an alley. It was supposed to be an easy case, but somehow it didn't went like that.
You knew the Winchester, sometimes you hunted with them, and they always offered their help. But this time you wanted to try and go alone, because you didn't want to bother them with your little troubles. But now, you were so desperate, that somehow you reached for your phone, and made a call. Sam answered the phone, but you couldn't say anything because in that moment one of the demons smacked your head against the wall behind you, and you fell unconscious.

Supernatural / reader part 8
"Dean! Sam!" Garth waved them over to where he sat.
"How've you been Garth?" They both sat at the extremely small table, more like footstools for the tall hunters.
"I've been good. So, it looks like you met (Y/n)." Getting right to the point was unusual for Garth. The brothers looked at each other, noticing the change in mood.
"Yeah, Sam helped her with a hunt. She got a cut on her leg or something." Garth listened to everything that transpired until he asked, "Did she meet Dean?"
He took their silence as a yes. "So, it went well , considering you are still alive."
"What do you mean?" Dean laughed. How could someone (Y/n)'s size kill him?

Dean x Reader Oneshot
I got this request on my Tumblr: Could it be DeanxReader, and a few weeks after Bobby has passed away and the reader is locking herself away and not eating and Dean gets really worried about her. He unlocks her door with his lock picks and cuddles her while she cries, and he cries too. Then they share their first kiss?
"Y/N?" Dean called out across the bunker. "I brought food. You having any?"
You were sat curled up on the couch with your legs tucked underneath you, watching the TV but not really paying much attention. "No thanks."
"You sure?" Dean checked. "You haven't been eating much lately."
"I'm fine, Dean," you insisted, trying to k
